Introduction

Globalization is the issue which is rocking the news today. It is the process where connectivity is increasing, and business and the world markets are becoming interdependent. Thus, this entails that the growth of every aspect of the economy is increasing and is independent. Technology is on the increase and has contributed to the rate of globalization. It has made it easier for people to communicate and transact business even when they are abroad. Furthermore, Internet is an aspect that is on the increase as well and has made it possible for globalization to progress. Moreover, it is needful to say that the increase of economies has also made it possible for globalization to develop. Globalization is associated with the increase of competition thus enhancing better opportunities for those who exist. Transport and communication are among the factors that hastened the process of globalization in order to achieve a fast maturity (Appadurai, 2001).

Consumerism is the aspect or order that allows the acquisition of goods and services. The world is facing the free flow of goods and services from one country to another. Therefore, this flow is what has caused the growth of laws and economies on the level of international platform. Globalization is an aspect that is not only experienced in the economic fields. This is among what the people enjoy about globalization (Hurrell, & Woods, 1999). This issue penetrated into politics and has changed many of its aspects. Some cultures that were predominant in the economy have been swept away by globalization. It is the same case that is happening in politics when some cultures and laws are overlooked because of globalization. Therefore, globalization is chasing away regulations while overlooking local politics. Besides this, national politics are also overlooked as an aspect of globalization; moreover, it leads to the formation of wealth and new markets as well. In addition, it also attributed to causing changes in culture and law. Also, globalization leads to unrest, suffering and disorder. Some of the incidents that have happened in the past years have shown that globalization is an aspect that leads to the deregulation but also is known as initiatives that cause global changes (KüNg, 1998).

Based on my views, I find the supporters of globalization better in persuasion. Based on the advantages linked with globalization, it has brought better things, including making countries get along very well, remedy to poverty and unemployment, better realization of goods by customers all over the world, flow of cash in many of the developing countries, free trade and increasing of business. These are some of the best issues that globalization has brought. This is not amidst some disadvantages like outsourcing (Kennedy, Messner, & Nuscheler, 2002).

Conclusion

Globalization leads to the formation of wealth and new markets as well. Globalization is also attributed to cause changes in culture, law and politics in many countries. The aspect of interdependence of economies is what has made politics be a global issue. Globalization should be regulated to ensure that developed and superior nations do not take advantage of the developing nations.
