is the second most important source of guidance and moral light after the Holy Quran. Its application as a word to imply guidance was not only meant to mean the prophet’s actions and normative actions
but also to the sayings and actions of the greater Muslim community. In a legal perspective however
sunnah is divided into two; legislative sunnah and non-legislative sunnah. The first denotes or incorporates the normative rules and principles as outlined by the shariah law
