and it’s rare to find someone that can examine a political event
whether it’s a debate or a speech or even a news story
as the title itself states that America meets the “real” Romney. The first paragraph goes on to comment on the idea that there are several Romneys that people have seen throughout the election
continually harping on the idea that the Governor changes his positions on several issues
the side where Mitt Romney is wrong
and that’s quite clear. The author spends quite a bit of time
often in favor of the President and to the detriment of the Governor. It’s not hard to determine that the author is one-sided in his retelling of the events because he doesn’t try to hide it
at one point he writes that Romney is like Nixon
there’s so much at stake that it’s almost impossible not to inject one’s opinions when commenting on a political event. This piece; however
doesn’t appear to even try. Political writing probably can’t be 100% opinion free unless it’s a transcript
