Re: Effect of Gun Violence amongst the sports Athletes in Columbus.
Greeting Madam Grace,
I am writing to you concerning the problem of gun violence in Columbus which has affected many of the school members. We are appreciative of the support that you have given out the past years into helping us tackle the challenge. Nonetheless, gun violence has led to a lot of uncertainties amongst the school athlete members; hence the athlete team of the school is unable to participate in gaming activities. The game season is almost approaching, but we have lack ample practice time. The loss of many of our lead team members has left us with many unfit volunteers, which makes us exposed to the risk of losing in the games.
We would love your support into finding a solution to this problem and establish a way we can continue with our practices. The team members are willing to take precautions necessary to ensure their safety as well as prevent further spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Besides, we have been winning in the competition, thus giving the school a chance to advance its ability to recruit more sportspeople. The future of the school is bright, and we are looking forward to developing more talent. Physical activity is essential for us, as it provides an opportunity to be physically fit and capable of beating the competition.
Also, some of the students we included in the team who are not part of the school team are equally as important in the consideration. They include the students with health problems such as trauma from gun violence in Ohio and other States, heart disease, concentration problems, and drug reformist amongst other students who like cultivating on a physically fit body. The aim of including the students in the program was part of the team’s way of giving back to the school and community. Also, many of the students are not able to access other training facilities due to the location inconvenience and other affordances. We would really appreciate the school’s support for us to get back to our regular physical activities in the playground.
