The course XCOM/285 Essentials of Managerial Communication elaborates on different theories, and practices that a manager should have for effective communicate with the staff, clients, and society. The course elaborates on various communication skills that a manager requires while carrying out managerial roles. In addition, the course XCOM/285 Essentials of Managerial Communication touches on key managerial decision making procedures depending on the available situations. Moreover, the course teaches on how to maintain high productivity in a business through maintaining quality managerial skills related to employee empowerment, appraisals, and motivations.

The concept of XCOM/285 Essentials of Managerial Communication finds many applications in my future business. The course has taught me how to make effective communications with my clients, and colleagues in business. With the knowledge of essentials of managerial communication, I will deliver information through quality memos, letters, emails, and effective verbal methods. In addition, the course teaches on how to uphold ethics in business through following all set policies. An individual’s behavior plays a significant role in the success of any business or organization. Business entrepreneurs should uphold their ethics in order to create a good relationship with clients and the society (Koontz & Weihrich 2007; 35-38).

 The knowledge of Essentials of Managerial Communication will also play a significant role when it comes to aspects of employee motivation, and other opportunities within a business premises. Undertaking employee’s motivation will enable a business retain more employees, and increase on the output. In addition, the course has prepared me on hoe to be a responsible manager in creating a better employees’ environment. Moreover, the course has enabled me realize more opportunities in the area of business innovations that will be essential in improving my business productivity (Koontz & Weihrich 2007; 40-43).
