The interview process poses the biggest challenge to any job applicant. The interview process involves a series of interviews, with the initial step being submitting a resume. When writing a resume, one should use a strategic approach in which one considers the employer’s perspective. Understanding the employer’s perspective ensures that one understands what the employer wants in a recruit. The resume should address what the employer wants and should communicate a specific objective, in this case, an interest in joining the organization. Lastly, the resume should have a positive tone. After passing the first interview, a second interview is held shortly after, and in this, applicants are required to show up in person. A board holds the second interview, and to stand out from other job applicants, one should speak with confidence and have basic knowledge of the information needed. Speaking with confidence builds the image that one is calm and in control. One should also maintain eye contact when answering questions and speak clearly. After the second interview, one is required to attend the third interview. During the third interview, a job applicant must communicate to show they are aware of the organization’s interests and goals. The applicant’s voice should also convey the desire to join the organization in fulfilling its objective. Therefore, to ensure that one wins an interview, a job applicant needs to communicate with a positive tone and remain confident. Confidence helps one better manage nonverbal cues. These nonverbal cues include maintaining eye contact, smiling, and correct posture. After the job interview, an applicant should ensure that they close professionally. It involves sending a professional email to thank the interview panel for the opportunity granted. This action shows genuine interest in the company.

During the start of the interview, I can discuss my work experiences, academic background, and my goal for the future. This information gives a clear image of why I am best suited for the role. In the middle, I can discuss what benefits and skills I will bring to the company, and lastly, I can thank the interview panel for considering me for the position.

Hi Jalexis

I agree with you that confidence and knowledge are key to a speaker. As you have highlighted, a speaker needs to communicate their ideas clearly to the audience. It requires creating well-structured content and delivering the message in an eloquent and captivating style to the audience. Well-structured content involves a message with a clear highlighted goal, a guide on steps to achieve the goal set, and a summary of the importance of the goal. To ensure that one can deliver their presentation effectively, it is crucial that one evaluates different presentations and understand how the speakers handled or ruined their presentations.
